Sacto, that is what really call Sacramento. Half the time people just call it Sac. I met some people from Ventura on the fourth of July and the were in Sacto for the first time. They said people kept asking them if they were from "Sac" and they were all like what? It does conjure up sort of a gross image, Sac.
