Just returned from a 5 day visit to Venice and the beautiful Villa Albertina. The accommodations were extremely clean and comfortable and the breakfast each morning was a delicious way to start our day. While the hotel is not on the mainland, Lido is a short (10 - 12 minute) Vaporetto ride away from Piazza San Marco. Using the Vaporetto proved to be very convenient and purchasing the "Rolling Venice" card saved us money on the 72 hr. pass. Be sure to ask about the Casanova Suite when booking your stay. The room was large and the marble bathroom was flooded with light in the mornings. Overall a wonderful stay!!!
