The initial block of Hotel Capo Sud *** was built in 1955 by the Di Puccio family which still runs the hotel today. Since then the hotel has been enlarged and regularly restructured, but its discreet and friendly welcome has not changed.The hotel has fourty rooms in small cottages located in the large (10000 sqm) garden reaching our beach.These cottages are named Palm, Eucalyptus, Sun, Aleatico, Moon, Pinetree, Mimosa, Nightingale, Butterbush, Sea Urchin and Sage; their names were suggested to us by their peculiar position within the green mediterranean vegetation which surrounds the hotel.In the hotel's central building is the main restaurant: our kitchen prepares wholesome dishes and you may choose every day sea specialties. Our guests particularly appreciate the hotel's proximity to the sea.The three paths leading to the beach start from the terrace where breakfast is served, near the waterlilys pond.The small cottages with most of our rooms, all with a small balcony, are located in the vegetation near the paths leading to the beach.A few steps and you will reach one of the hotel's most lovely places, the scenographic swimming pool facing the sea.Near the swimming pool are a bar and a small nice open-air restaurant which is active since mid June.Here, at lunch, you may eat a-la-carte or have a complete lunch at a good price.This is our beach: one of the most peaceful of Elba even during the summer months when the island is more crowded.The hotel's private beach with the beach umbrellas, deckchairs and sun beds in the sand area is reserved to our clients and free of charge.Adults and children can relax and swim safely in the swimming pool and in the sea under the surveillance of the lifeguards.We are in a very quiet location,in the middle of the vegetation right near the boundary of the "Natural Park of Tuscan Isles" which guarantees clean sea and unpolluted nature. Playing sports in such an environment is even more pleasant.The hotel has a synthetic lawn tennis court where you can play free of charge. Our guests can use without additional costs our bowl court.In Elba there are many routes where you can ride bicycles with wonderful views of the nature and the sea.On the beach our lifeguard may rent you canoes and pedalos.One hundred meters from our beach there is a sailing and windsurf school which is good both for beginners and experienced sailors.Finally, Capo Sud has agreements with a scuba diving school and with a manege for pleasant horse rides.For those interested in playing golf, the Acquabona golf course is just 8 km from us.Those less interested in sports and who want to escape the sun of the beach in the hottest hours of the day may borrow one of 1000 books from our library and sit in the shade of the garden.In the hotel's hall there is a piano and often our guests delight us with good music.We are located in a central position within Elba so that you can easily reach Elba's main towns with a few minutes ride by car:Capoliveri and its old village on the slopes of a hill, Portoferraio with the Medici's fortress and Napoleon's villas and Porto Azzurro and Marina di Campo with their elegant shops.Those who don't want to use the car for the whole holiday can take a nice walk in the surroundings such as the promontory of Cape Stella with the view of the sea on both sides of the walk.Those who just want to relax may still enjoy the beauty of the island while sitting on a comfortable bench of Hotel Capo Sud.

L'Hotel Capo Sud a été construit dans un son noyau d'origine en 1955 par la famille Di Puccio que le gere encore aujourd'hui.
Depuis sa création il a été agrandi et restructuré à plusieurs reprises mais l'accueil - qui se veut réservé et amical - est resté toujours le même.
L'Hotel a quarante chambres situées dans des villas indépendantes situées dans le grand jardin de 10.000 mq qui arrive jusqu'à notre plage.
Les villas s'appellent: "Palma, Eucaliptus, Sole, Aleatico, Luna, Pini, Mimose, Usignolo, Pitosforo, Riccio et Salvia Marina"; le nom nous a étè suggéré par la position particulière de chaque villa qui est placée au milieu du maquis méditerranéen.
Le restaurant est situé dans le bâtiment central de l'hôtel: notre cuisine offre des plats préparés avec des produits naturels, avec un large choix quotidien de spécialités de la mer.
La proximité de la mer est l'une des caractéristiques la plus appréciée de nos hôtes. Trois allées conduisent à la plage depuis la terrasse où est servi le petit déjeuner.
Le long du parcours on rencontre les villas dans lesquelles se trouvent nos chambres, situées toutes dans la verdure et chacune avec un balcon ou une terrasse.
Encore quelques pas et il on rejoint l'un des endroits les plus beaux de l'hôtel: la piscine panoramique ouverte sur la mer.
Près de la piscine se trouvent le bar et un agréable restaurant en plein air fonctionnant à partir de la mi-juin. Ici on peut déjeuner à la carte ou consommer un menu à un prix raisonnable.
Et voici notre plage: une des plus calmes de l'Ile d'Elbe même en été.
Elle est réservée à nos Clients qui peuvent utiliser gratuitement parasols, chaise-longues et lits placés dans la partie sableuse.
Adultes et enfants peuvent s'amuser et nager en toute sécurité soit dans la piscine soit en mer sous la sourveillance de nos maîtres nageurs.
Nous sommes ici dans un lieu très calme, en pleine verdure, juste aux confins du Parc Naturel de l'Archipel Toscan qui vous assure une eau propre et une nature non polluée.
La pratique d'une activité sportive dans un tel environnement devient encore plus plaisante.
L'hôtel dispose d'un court de tennis avec pelouse synthétique à usage gratuit pour nos Clients. Un terrain de pétanque est mis gratuitement à la disposition de nos Clients.
L'île est riche de nombreux parcours à vélos qui offrent des magnifiques panoramas entre mer et verdure.
Sur la plage vous pourrez en outre louer des canoës et des pédalos.A quelque centaine de mètres de notre plage vous trouverez une école de voile et planche à voile pour débutants ou pour experts.
Le Capo Sud enfin est en relation avec une école de plongée et un manège pour des agréables promenades à cheval. Le terrain de Golf "Acquabona" est à seulement 8 km de notre hôtel.
Pour ceux qui n'aiment pas le sport et désirent éviter les heures les plus chaudes, nous proposons une bibliothèque riche d'environ un millier de titres.
Dans le hall il y a un piano et nous avons souvent des hôtes qui proposent de la musique.
Le Capo Sud grâce à sa position géographique est un excellent point de départ pour des excursions à Capoliveri, avec son bourg ancien accroché à la colline, Portoferraio avec ses forteresses médicéennes et les villas de Napoléon et Portoazzurro et Marina di Campo avec ses magasins chiques.
Tous ces endroits se trouvent à quelques minutes de voiture.
Pur ceux qui, au contraire, préfèrent oublier la voiture pendant les vacances il y a de très belles promenades à pieds, notamment le long du promontoire du Capo Stella d'où l'on peut admirer la mer des deux côtés.
Même ceux qui auront choisi le repos absolu pourront admirer la beauté du paysage assis confortablement sur un banc de l'Hotel Capo Sud.

L’Hotel Capo Sud è stato costruito nel suo nucleo iniziale nel 1955 dalla famiglia Di Puccio che lo gestisce ancora oggi.
Da allora si è ingrandito ed è stato ristrutturato più volte, ma mai è cambiata l’accoglienza che si vuole riservata ed amichevole.
L'albergo ha quaranta camere situate in piccole villette disposte nel grande giardino di 10.000 mq che arriva fino sulla nostra spiaggia.
Queste casette si chiamano:
la Palma, l'Eucaliptus, il Sole, l'Aleatico, la Luna, i Pini, le Mimose, l'Usignolo, il Pittosforo, il Riccio e la Salvia Marina;
il loro nome ci è stato suggerito dalle loro particolari posizioni nel verde della macchia mediterranea in cui è immerso l'albergo.
Nel corpo centrale dell'albergo è il ristorante principale:
la nostra cucina offre piatti genuini con la possibilità di scegliere ogni giorno specialità marinare.
Una delle caratteristiche più apprezzate dai nostri Ospiti è la vicinanza al mare. Dalla terrazza dove viene servita la prima colazione, vicino al laghetto delle ninfee, partono i tre vialetti che conducono alla spiaggia.
Lungo il percorso si incontrano le villette che ospitano la maggior parte delle nostre camere, tutte immerse nel verde e ciascuna con il proprio balconcino o dehors.
Ancora pochi passi e si raggiunge uno dei posti più belli dell'albergo:
la scenografica piscina che si affaccia proprio sul mare.
Nei pressi della piscina ci sono il bar ed un simpatico ristorantino all'aperto in funzione da metà giugno.
Qui, a pranzo, si mangia alla carta o un pasto completo ad un prezzo conveniente.
Ed ecco la nostra spiaggia: una delle più tranquille di tutta l'Elba anche nei mesi in cui l'isola è più affollata.
La spiaggia è riservata ai nostri Ospiti.
Adulti e bambini possono rilassarsi e nuotare con sicurezza in piscina e in mare sotto la vigilanza dei nostri bagnini.
La spiaggia privata con ombrelloni, sdraio e lettini è gratuita per i nostri Ospiti.
Siamo in un angolo di grande tranquillità, immersi nel verde e proprio al confine del Parco Naturale dell'Arcipelago Toscano che promette mare pulito
e angoli di natura incontaminata.
Praticare un'attività sportiva in una cornice di questo genere diventa ancora più piacevole.
L'albergo dispone di un campo da tennis in erba sintetica dove è possibile giocare gratuitamente.
Ad uso gratuito degli Ospiti abbiamo anche un campo da bocce.
All'Elba esistono diversi percorsi per gli amanti della bicicletta che offrono splendidi panorami tra la natura ed il mare.
In spiaggia il nostro bagnino sarà a vostra disposizione per l'affitto di canoe e pedalò.
Ad un centinaio di metri dalla nostra spiaggia c'è una scuola di vela e windsurf adatta sia ai principianti sia ai più esperti.
Infine, il "Capo Sud" è collegato con una scuola di sub e con un maneggio per piacevoli passeggiate a cavallo.
Per chi ama il golf, il campo da golf dell'Acquabona è a soli 8 km da noi.
Chi non ama gli sport e vuole sfuggire al sole della spiaggia nelle ore più calde, può prendersi un libro dalla nostra biblioteca fornita di circa 1000 titoli e scegliere un posto all'ombra nel giardino.
Nella hall c'è un pianoforte e spesso abbiamo Ospiti che ci allietano facendo buona musica.
La nostra posizione geografica, centrale rispetto ai principali centri abitati dell'Elba, fa del "Capo Sud" un ottimo punto di partenza per chi desiderasse visitare anche questi paesi a pochi minuti di auto: Capoliveri e il suo antico borgo arroccato sulla collina, Portoferraio con le fortezze Medicee e le ville di Napoleone e Porto Azzurro e Marina di Campo con i loro negozi eleganti.
Per chi invece preferisce "dimenticarsi" dell'auto per tutta la vacanza non mancano le occasioni di poter fare delle belle passeggiate nei dintorni come ad esempio lungo il promontorio del capo Stella con il panorama del mare elbano sui due lati della camminata.
Ma anche chi sceglie il riposo assoluto potrà comunque godere della bellezza dell'isola seduto su una comoda panchina dell'Hotel Capo Sud.

Das Hotel Capo Sud *** wurde im Jahre 1955 von der Familie Di Puccio gebaut und noch heute wird es von derselben Familie geführt. Seitdem hat es sich vergrössert und wurde regelmäßig umgebaut, es hat jedoch immer seine freundliche und bescheidene Atmosphäre bewahrt.
In einem Park von 10.000 qm. Größe, der bis unseren Strand erreicht, sind die 40 Zimmer des Hotels auf Häuschen verteilt.
Die Anlage liegt wunderbar.
Die einzelnen Häuschen heißen:
la Palma, l'Eucalyptus, il Sole, l'Aleatico, la Luna, i Pini, le Mimose, l'Usignolo, il Pittosforo, il Riccio und la Salvia Marina.
Die Namen haben sie aus ihrer Stellung im Grünen der üppigen Mittelmeermacchia erhalten.
Das Restaurant befindet sich im Hauptgebäude. Sie werden von einer abwechslungsreichen mediterranen Küche verwöhnt. Salate, Gemüse und Fisch finden sie täglich auf der Speisekarte.
Das Hotel ist wegen seiner Nähe zum Meer sehr beliebt. Neben dem Teich mit Seerosen und Goldfischen wird auf einer Terrasse das Frühstück serviert und von hier aus führen drei Wege zum Strand.
Auf diesen Wegen befinden sich die ins Grüne eingebetteten Häuschen, in denen sich die meisten Zimmer des Hotels befinden. Jedes Zimmer hat einen eigenen Balkon oder einen Vorplatz.
Nach ein paar Schritten erreicht man einen der schönsten Plätze des Hotels: den unmittelbar am Meer gelegenen Süsswasser-Schwimmingpool. Da befinden sich auch eine Bar und ein kleines Gartenrestaurant, das ab Mitte Juni geöffnet ist.Hier gibt es erfrischende Menus "à la Carte" zu günstigen Preisen und eine grosse Auswahl an Gelati.
Das ist unser Strand: einer der ruhigsten Strände der Insel Elba, auch während der Hochsaison.
Der Privatstrand mit Sonnenschirmen, Liegestühlen und Liegen ist für unsere Gäste reserviert und immer im Preis inbegriffen. Erwachsene und Kinder können sich hier erholen und im Meer oder im Schwimmingpool ein Bad nehmen. Zu ihrer Sicherheit ist ein aufmerksamer Bademeister da.

Nur etwa 100 m vom Strand entfernt befindet sich eine Segelschule -für Anfäger und Fortgeschrittene.
In der nähe des Hotel Capo Sud gibt es eine Tauchschule und auch Reitgelegenheit.
Für die Golflieber ist der Golfplatz "Acquabona" nur 8 Km weit entfernt.
Wer keinen Sport treiben will und von der Sonne am Strand in den Spitzenstunden fliehen möchte, kann sich aus unserer Bibliothek ein Buch leihen und im Schatten einer Pinie einige entspannende Momente genießen.
In der Empfangshalle steht ein Klavier und oft haben wir Gäste, die mit guter Musik eine Note Fröhlichkeit einbringen.
Dank seiner bevorzugten geographischen Lage, ist das Hotel Capo Sud ein idealer Ausgangspunkt die umliegenden Ortschaften zu besuchen.
