This is a beautiful hotel at great price. It is located on a pretty half-moon shaped beach, with great waves for body-boarding. There are some good restaurants and shops nearby, yet the local area is not too crowded like some other towns in Costa Rica (Tamarindo, Jaco). If you want surfing and more night life, you can always go to Tamarindo which is nearby, and enjoy the laid back days in Flamingo. The staff was so nice and accommodating and super-friendly. The rooms are big, clean and modern. There is an onsite tour company and dive shop, with plenty of great things to do. We had a fantastic time and I would recommend the hotel to anyone. They are doing a little construction outside now, just to improve the landscaping...should be gorgeous in a few months. We want to go back!!
