Located in the middle of Amsterdam in the area called The Pijp, so called because the narrow streets resembled pipes and is an alternative, multi-cultural neighborhood. It is only minutes away from the famous Amsterdam museums, stylish shopping, fine dining, and Amsterdam nightlife.
The Aalborg Hotel Amsterdam has 36 rooms; all renovated in 2006, combine a vintage fashion with a modern look and has a comforting appeal which will relax the tensest of travelers. For a better description of the rooms, please look at the rooms page.
The Aalborg Hotel Amsterdam offers a business center which includes; a computer with internet access, fax machine, and telephone. As well we have the AA bar, which sells premium liquors, drinks, snacks, and is always showing the news or sporting events on a large LCD TV. Also, our 24 hour reception can provide any dinner reservations, directions, or recommendations for anything that Amsterdam has to offer
The area has many exotic restaurants including; authentic Mediterranean, eastern and Surinamese restaurants, to name but a few, as well as typical Amsterdam pubs and coffee shops located on almost every corner. Across the park is the famous Amsterdam Albert Cuyp market.
